IMPORTANT EPISTLE FOR MY VISITORS

You need to dig deeper..

What do I mean by that?

Well let me start by asking you a question

Did you achieve your business goals in 2013?

Is your niche business off the ground and running?

Or did it fall short?

If you did, Congratulations..seriously.

That’s not to be taken lightly.

If you didn’t (and even if you did but want to take it to the next level) it’s likely because you didn’t dig deep enough.

I can’t tell you how often I get emails from customers or people on my list just like you asking me "why isn’t my business working?" or "why aren’t I making money".

When I respond asking for more information – what niche are you in ext. I get back answers back like

"Dog training", "yoga", "pilates", "weight loss".

If you want to go into these niches – that’s fine. But here’s the problem.

Most people stop there.

They don’t actually know or like these niches. They aren’t experts they’ve just arbitrarily chosen this niche.

They stop at the surface level stuff.

And you can’t be doing that if you want to run a 6 or 7 figure online business.

You need to dig deeper then that

This is one of the problems..there are too many teachers out there pushing ‘new business models’.

When a new business model isn’t going to fix your inherent problem.

You don’t truly understand your customer.

There’s nothing wrong with the simple funnel : traffic –> Optin –> email auto responder follow up sequence.

That’s a tried and tested funnel that has made billions of dollars online.

That works…

..But it works when you really know how your customer operates, what they’re thinking and doing.

You can’t be skipping the important stuff in between choosing your niche and sending them emails.

That is – understanding your customers problem.

Your subscribers are smart, and if you’re not providing true value or actually connecting with them on an emotional level of providing solutions to their problems they’ll read through the B.S

I want to help you have more success in 2014 – and to do that I’ve put together a list of questions that will help you to "dig deeper" and truly understand your audience and their REAL problems.
What emotional triggers does your customer have?
What problems does your customer have that they desperately want to solve?
What roadblocks stop them along the way of solving their problems?
What does your customer fear?
What do they desire?
What are they saying and doing now?
How old are they?
Male/Female?
Are they single? Married?
Do they have children?
Are they employed?
What’s their income level?
What’s their education level?
if you don’t know the answer to one or more of these questions…

Get going.

Get going and find the answers.

I promise you, they’re out there.

The internet has an abundance of information – head to forums, start creating a customer profile.

I’d suggest by creating a word document and making a worksheet out of these questions.
Answer every single one.

Worksheets always make it easier to get things done!

Forums are filled with information that can help you understand the stories that are going on in your customers head.

Simply google "your niche + forum" and you’ll find dozens of them.

Here’s a tip – head to the "introduction" section in the forum – this is where people introduce themselves and usually tell their problem.

You’ll be amazed by the amount of personal information that you can learn about your customer on forums.

You’ll be able to answer every single one of the above questions by using this method.

Doing this will make your ability to write persuasive copy to increase your conversion rates so much easier.

Your optin/squeeze page conversion rate, your email open rate, your email click through rate, your sales page conversion rate.

All of these are leverage points along your funnel and increasing the conversion rates through understanding your audience and writing persuasive copy will help you to make A LOT more money in 2014.

Now..I know what some of you are thinking "I’m not an expert in any niche".

And to that I’d say – stop making excuses.

Choose a topic that you want to learn more about

Something that you’d be happy to become an expert on and get going..

Start researching and learning more about that topic.

Not only will that be a good process for identifying the problems in that niche but now at least you’re moving forward.

There is nothing stopping you from making 2014 a huge success except for
you.
You can get going on all of this right now.

And I promise you’ll thank me for it

  1. Ja und dann Punkt 3. Ist eigentlich der Traurigste. Der verzweifelte Aachenstudent lernt jemanden kennen. In seinem Kopf schon Phrasen ala “Kann es sein? Ist es die Möglichkeit? Wo ist der Haken?” der Haken kommt dann 5min später vom Klo wieder. Selbstverständlich kann man jetzt argumentieren: “Ja, offensiv an die 2%! Ran an den Speck!” Nun. Ich bin ja nicht der Typ der sich auf der Tanzfläche durch den geschlossenen Männerkreis um das Objekt der Begierde kämpft. Zu groß auch das Risiko dass einem der Schwanzparadenteilnehmer auf einmal mein Erscheinunsbild gefällt und man auf dem Weg in die Mitte auf einmal von hinten angerieben wird. rgh. Ich bin ja nicht homophob. Ich bin ein sehr toleranter Mensch. Aber das ist einfach nicht so meine Welt. Garnicht.
