Befoe 2 weeks I made a posting suggesting that one of the reasons you may not have hit your online business goals last year is because you didn’t dig deep enough.
What do I mean by this?
Well..let’s look at the basic anatomy of an online business funnel.
traffic –> squeeze/optin page –> email follow up campaign –> Offer (your product or affiliate product)
This is the basic infrastructure for making money online.
You may have it set up already..or maybe not.
The reality is it’s easy to get this set up.
You can take one afternoon and set up these basic pieces of a funnel.
BUT as easy as it is to go through the motions and slap this up there, it’s just as easy to mess it up by skipping what’s most important.
And that is..
Understanding your customer, writing copy that connects with your audience and triggers the right response.
This is the type of stuff – audience research, copywriting and split testing – that isn’t talked about nearly enough in internet marketing
Because it’s not ‘sexy’. It’s not a ‘ magic push button’ system.
And yet.. you need to know this stuff..
You need to know how to find out what triggers your customers emotions, what their true problems are..and then how to translate that into copy that compels the prospect to take action.
Knowing this information can literally take you from not making money online (or worse actually losing money online every month) into 5, 6, 7 figure business.
Your funnel will look the same on the surface:
Traffic –> squeeze/optin page –> email follow up campaign –> Offer (your product or affiliate product)
But it will be performing very different because you will have learned what really triggers your customer to take action at each of these key leverage points.
You’ll find that at each of these leverage points.. you’re conversion rate will go up.
And when your conversion rate goes up.. you start making more money.
